Tottenham's end-of-season plunge continued as the Lilywhites lost their 1-0 defeat to Bournemouth and Son Heung-min's red card summed up a frustrating week for the Spurs.
After missing the midweek defeat against Ajax in the Champions League semifinal in suspension, South Korea was reinstated in the starting lineup at Vitality Stadium to insufflate a new offensive impulse alongside Mauricio Pochettino.
RED CARD Son Heung-min was shown a flawless red for an out-of-the-game incident.

However, Son did not even qualify for the first half of the Premier League game as the striker was sacked two minutes before the interval on the south coast.
The attacker made a mistake on Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser, before Jefferson Lerma intervened by brushing Son's leg. Striker Tottenham reacted warmly by pushing Lerma, who threw himself to the ground.
In truth, South Korea's actions were more frustrating than malicious, but Lerma's dramatic reaction undoubtedly played a role in Craig Pawson's decision to give Son a red card.

Heung-min Son has never been suspended in nearly four years in Tottenham. Now has a second ban in a week.

The decision seemed to be harsh, especially since the acts of aggression are largely out of character for Son, but he was perhaps naive on the part of the star of Tottenham to engage in a such altercation.
Lerma did not do any good with his theatrical art, but he gave his team a big advantage by allowing his team to play the entire second half without the threat of the most dangerous attacker of the visitors.
To make matters worse for the Spurs, Juan Foyth rushed out unexpectedly to pitch a dangerous challenge to Jack Simpson just three minutes into the second period, leaving Pawson with no choice but to brandish a second red card remarkably fast, visitors are now reduced nine men.
Stellar performance of Juan Foyth who

He was hardly on the ground for a minute, why does Foyth intervene like that?

In a defining week for the season at Tottenham, their character and resolve are facing such a big challenge at Vitality Stadium as they will be in the days to come.
