Small service set aside: Firefox users have been having a bad surprise since this morning. Due to the expiration of a certificate, necessary for signing and validating addons, all extensions are currently (almost) disabled. The corresponding certificate would have had to be renewed several weeks ago, but apparently it has completely pbaded through the grid. Even at Bugzilla, Mozilla's own bug tracking system, fill in the entries now.
Mozilla is working hard on a solution and has released a patch that should reach all users via a system addon in the next few hours (here already done). Everything happens automatically in the background. Therefore, apart from the fact that everything will work again, you will not notice it. More details can be found on the Discourse official forum.
Sorry for the problem we have with the add-ons right now!
We work hard to fix it and keep you informed.
