Kwadaso-Beposo (Ash), May 4, GNA – Apostle
Kingsford Kyei-Mensah, head of the Kwadaso Region of the Pentecost Church,
called the Ghanaians to revive the spirit of love and patriotism to build the
nation.
He said that citizens must defend the virtues
of truth, justice and fair play in all efforts to ensure a peaceful world
society.
Apostle Kyei-Mensah made the appeal in a
interview with the Ghana News Agency in Kwadaso-Beposo in the Ashanti region in
a four-day Christian retreat; "Love and patriotism for building a nation."
"The love for his country should make us pbad
our nation first in all our endeavors, even at the risk of our life "he
I said.
Apostle Kyei-Mensah said that people had become
apathetic in all sectors of society, particularly with regard to cleanliness,
and urged Christians to rise to the challenge of mutual education on
adequate environmental sanitation.
"This will help prevent floods, health problems,
and the loss of lives and property and also allow the government to channel
resources available for meaningful projects to transform lives, "he said.
