Muktar Dems was killed in a terrible road accident on the Kumbungu-Tamale road while traveling to Tamale
Iddrisu Muktar Dems, a parliamentary candidate for the Kumbungu constituency in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituencies, has pbaded away.
He was involved in a terrible road accident on the Kumbungu-Tamale road while traveling to Tamale.
The deceased was buried according to the Islamic faith.
An eyewitness, Dallah Prince, told DAILY GUIDE that Muktar Dems, who was driving a motorcycle, crashed into a dump truck on the Kumbungu to Tamale road.
According to him, the dump truck developed a breakdown and was parked on the shoulder of the road. Dems, unfortunately, crashed into the truck at the stop because the place was dark due to the lack of street lights on the road.
He revealed that the deceased had died on the spot and that his body had been sent to the University Hospital of Tamale, then handed over to the family for burial.
The late Iddrisu Muktar Dems left a wife and eight (8) children.
