But two years later, the stains got so bad that Shauna can barely leave the house.
She suffers from chronic idiopathic urticaria with symptoms similar to an allergic reaction but without known cause.
And Shuana now fears not being able to be a bridesmaid for her father Ronan's next wedding this summer.

She said: "Two years ago, I had a few small dots and that was good, but now it's constant, it's even on my face. Every morning I wake up, it's there.
"I have the impression that my whole body is burning, I can feel it even before it appears on my skin."
"Some mornings, my eyes are so swollen that I can barely see, so the hives are hot and itchy.
"They are so red and distinctive, I even have them on the palm of my hand when I have a bad push, there are big dark circles on the forehead and other parts become swollen.
"It's horrible, I can not look at myself during a crisis and sometimes I can barely get out of the room and I'm not leaving the house.

"The idea of wearing a dress at my father's wedding with the rash terrifies me.

Shauna has been suffering from hives for two years. But since last November, after a serious crisis, his symptoms worsened.
She said: "At the beginning, some days is the day, it's madness. It's crazy how it happens to you.
"I was worried thinking that it was Lyme disease because the curves were real rings, but after some samples and tests, we found out that it was not a problem. was not the case. "

Shauna hides in the shelter of others during particularly severe crises when she is unable to cover herself with long-sleeved skin.
And the young woman admits that going out in public is humiliating – she is constantly watched.
Shauna said, "You can see people watching you, even when you try to hide it.
"Nobody else really understands, aside from other members of the hives community. People think that you can take an antihistamine and that it will go away.
Shauna expresses her concerns for the future if she can not access more powerful drugs – such as Xolair, which helps many people with urticaria.
She said, "I wake up worse every day. It affects my friendships, I can not go out at night with this rash on my arm and when I was working in retail, it was horrible.
"I am particularly worried about my dad's wedding and summer when I can not hide it because of the warm weather.
