All hospitals – whether public or private – have been invited to have special spaces so that suspected cases of swine flu are detected at the earliest. All cases of influenza, whether suspected or confirmed, must be isolated in order to prevent any spread of the disease. Hospitals were also asked to report to the Department of Health confirmed cases of swine influenza reported in their facility.
Videoconferences are regularly organized with the states to monitor the situation.
