Manchester United is on the verge of concluding a contract with Hannibal Mejbri, a Monegasque teenager, according to reports.
Mejbri, who has played for Paris FC and AC Boulogne-Billancourt in youth, is considered one of the best young talents in French football and is currently under contract until 2021.
United been linked to Mejbri as recently as in mid-June, when The Parisian said they offered a £ 3.5 million package to try to land the 16-year-old ahead of a growing number of clubs wanting his signature.
And now CMR and The Team (via Sports witness) says he will move to Old Trafford after United makes an offer of 10 million euros.
The Team announces "Million Dollar Baby" Thursday as the title of the transaction and adds that an initial amount of 5 million euros will be paid in advance before an additional 5 million will be paid in supplements.
A source close to the agreement also said The Parisian that "it's done!" as they save The Team"Claims on the structure of the transaction.
The Parisian adds that they expect Mejbri to sign a long-term contract "in the coming hours" before traveling to England for a medical examination.
