No matter the situation, nobody wants to be told that it smells bad.
However, a couple recently found themselves publicly humiliated when he learned this and escorted an American Airlines flight because of it.
According to Yossi Adler and his wife Jennie, members of the Miami International Airport staff started them, along with their 19-month-old daughter, aboard a plane telling them that they were not going to be there. Were not allowed to return because of their "bad body odor".
Mr. Adler, a 36-year-old business consultant, is categorical: they did not smell and had been fired for other reasons.
The family was getting ready to fly from Miami to their home in Detroit on Wednesday, when the incident occurred.
But their plans failed when the pbadengers complained that they smelled bad.
Speaking to WPLG Local 10 News, Mr. Adler said: "Suddenly, as soon as they took us away, they closed the gate and then they said:" Sorry, some people have complained about your body odor and we are not leaving you on "."
His wife claims to have been so confused about all this, they stopped people at the airport to find out if they really smelled.
After being fired from the plane, the family said that they had been told that their luggage would be returned to them, but that it had not happened. They ended up with just the clothes on their backs.
All they needed to take care of their child, including a car seat and stroller, was left in the plane.
In a statement, American Airlines said: "Mr. Adler and his wife were removed from the flight when several pbadengers complained of their body odor.
"They were booked overnight in a hotel and received meal vouchers and were booked for a flight on Thursday."
Despite this, Mr. Adler accused the airline of targeting his family because she is Jewish.
In a video showing the father who is warmly talking to the airport staff after being fired from the plane, we can hear him saying: "There is a religious reason that m & # 39; excludes from the plane. "
He adds: "We do not smell, agree? No one here has odor."
