A couple became a millionaire after making a last-minute trip to the shop to buy mashed peas.
Sophie Richards, 26, sent her husband William to the supermarket after a thirst for canned vegetables when he decided to take five lottery tickets by chance.
But the green mash was not the only piece of green that the family had that night – it also stole a million pounds.
Since their unexpected victory, the couple says their lives have changed dramatically.
As soon as the money hit their bank account, they decided to pay off all of their mortgage and took a well-deserved break.
William, who runs an online toy business with his wife, told The Mirror, "I remember being at the counter and the man looked at me when I said I was there to pay. he called his manager. "
LIFESTYLE CHANGE
The family booked an exceptional vacation at Disney World Florida in October and plans to treat the entire family, including Sophie's 72-year-old daughter.
"I love all Disney products and princesses," said Sophie. "Thanks to the winnings, we could have any hotel and book all the extras we would have never thought of – that's the second thing we did."
"It's good that we can pay them. Nan will help look after the babies, so we can have fun too, and my brother would never have afforded the trip. "
Only four weeks after winning the money, Sophie discovered that she was pregnant with their fourth child.
Needing more space, they splashed into a Range Rover.
They did not stop there, they bought a new car for Sophie's younger brother and his Nan.
Sophie explained that her partner, Will, became a different person through the injection of funds.

"I could relax and be more present for Sophie," said William. "Money has helped mbadively in this regard."
The kids know the victory but do not really know what it means, added Sophie.
They would surely have noticed that Christmas 2018 was much more extravagant than in previous years, with shopping trips to London and Bullring in Birmingham.
"So now, I'm buying a ticket when I'm somewhere I'm not supposed to be or that I had not planned to be."
"People sent us a message after saying that they had just bought a pea box because they felt lucky, but it was not about peas, it was impromptu tickets for dips while I was there.
