The Ghana Disabled People's Federation calls for justice for a deaf pregnant woman who died at Manhyia Hospital in Ashanti Region
The late Abena Adumaba Donkor was taken to the hospital after she started bleeding and vomiting.
The Federation of Disability indicates that, according to its audits, the institution's nursing staff monitored the premises continuously while the deceased was bleeding and vomiting to death.
He therefore demands that justice be done and that the responsible officials be put aside and go to court if nothing is done.
In his speech to Ivan Heathcote, president of Fumador Kumasi Subway Federation of Ultimate Fm, Abena's death was attributed to "negligence".
"It's very sad that our health workers were able to do the same thing to someone who is hard of hearing," he said.
Meanwhile, the Ghana Health Service sent a fact-finding team to the Manhyia government hospital after Abena's death.
