A disgusted family has found pubic hair in the microwave & # 39; in Pontins

A disgusted family said they found a pubic hair in the microwave in his "dirty" cottage on a Pontins holiday park in North Wales.

But when her mother, Naomi Clare, complained to Prestatyn Sands staff about the condition of the house, she said she "did not seem embarrbaded" and could not offer her another room.

At age 32, the floor of the room was sticky, the cupboards dirty and the curtains torn.

She also complained that the door to the room posed a fire hazard because it could only be opened from the outside.

Naomi arrived at the resort cottage for four nights, priced at £ 76, with her three-year-old son and her parents to celebrate her birthday.

She claimed to have gone to her son's room with her son, but panicked that she could not get out because the door only opened in one direction.

North Wales Live said: "Not only is this dangerous, but it is also a fire hazard. If a fire broke out, we would be trapped.

"Fortunately, Mom and Dad are in the same cottage, so they let me out when the door was blocked, otherwise I would be stuck there.

"If there was only me and my son in the room and the door was closed on the other side, everything could have happened."

Despite his complaints, staff said they were unable to offer him another room due to availability – unless they paid £ 70 extra.

Naomi added, "They told us that if we came back the next day and paid £ 70 more than we had already paid, they might have.

"It's safe to say we will never come back again. It's a joke. "

She went on to say that she had spent two hours cleaning the room before unpacking her luggage – but that she was still "dirty".

"The room is really ugly, we spent about two hours cleaning the place before unpacking because it was so dirty.

"The floors throughout the cottage are sticky, it was like they had not been cleaned for some time," she said.

Now, the family hopes that they will be compensated in one way or another.

The complex, owned by Britannia Inns, has been the subject of numerous complaints in recent months, culminating in the launch of a hygiene survey of the Denbighshire Council.

The complex was forced to close the pool after the discovery of "major problems", but has since reopened.
