A fan of Everton injured in the Millwall brawl reveals horrible injuries while he says "I can not look at myself"

The man was injured in the face before Everton's match against Millwall admitted he "can not even look in the mirror."

Jason Burns, of Liverpool, revealed the shocking extent of facial wounds in a Facebook post.

The metropolitan police confirmed that one man had been wounded in the face as both groups of supporters faced each other before the FA Cup match in New Den.

An image appeared Saturday night showing a wounded man at the helm and Burns posted on Facebook to show the damage.

He had sutures all the way down his face, as well as cuts and bruises to his eyes and mouth.

Mr. Burns wrote: "I am absolutely delighted by all the guys from Everton and all those who sent me a message are very much appreciated by Liverpool men.

"I can not even look at myself in the mirror, the price daft c *** me coming back again."

The metropolitan police called witnesses for scenes of violence on a street leading from Surrey Quays Tube Station to Millwall's The Den.



A man seemed to end up with a cut face after the violence

The police were forced to separate large groups of supporters seen striking near a building on Hawkstone Road in south-east London.

In the video clips circulating on social media, you can see mounted officers trying to make their way between rival groups of Premier League and Championship clubs.

A spokesman for the Metropolitan Police said: "At approximately 4:42 pm, officers learned that a large group of men were fighting in the Hawkstone Road area.

"A 20-year-old man was found suffering from a facial injury.The LAS took him to a hospital in South London.His wounds do not put his life in danger.

"A crime scene remains in place.The officers worked to separate the groups with the support of the horse branch.At this early stage, there was no arrest."

On the field, Millwall secured a late shock as Murray Wallace took home the winner in the 93rd minute to secure his team's spot in the fifth round with a 3-2 win.

Everton had beaten Richarlison and Cenk Tosun twice, but Lee Gregory and Jake Cooper had caught them.
