The prosecution said that the victim, who was already frightened, had handed over her handbag but Akiti was not satisfied and came forward to pull out a cutlbad and inflicted a deep cut in her right bad.

Inspector Ahiabor said that Akiti had still cut off the victim's wrist. She screamed loudly to attract neighbors to the scene.

Akiti was therefore hot chased but he managed to escape. However, a complaint was lodged at the police station, which led to his arrest.
The prosecution stated that the victim was still at the military hospital 37 to respond to treatment.
