A kiwi, 31, dies of meningitis while he was teaching English in Cambodia

A New Zealand man who died while teaching in Cambodia is considered by the family as a nice giant.

Isak van Schalkwyk, permanent resident of New Zealand, died of meningitis on 18 April. He was 31 years old.

Nina Greeff, a Auckland-based sister, said her parents, who live in South Africa, were leaving for the Easter weekend after receiving a call informing him that van Schalkwy had died.
