After clarifying that they were women wearing the "denim dress", the man boldly asked for a refund of the drinks he bought because they "did not go home".
He wrote: "Could you transfer me for the drinks I bought last night because we did not go home, togeva was not really worth my time if it was lol x (sic) . "
The tweet went viral, with over 62,000 likes and 9,000 retweets, and Ms Matthews has since confirmed that she had not transferred the man to a penny.
