A A 38-year-old man was accused of flying a drone near Heathrow Airport a few days after an alert in Gatwick that caused the failure of more than 1,000 flights.
On Christmas Eve, George Rusu reportedly used a drone on a field near the runway of Heathrow Airport, the busiest airport in Britain.
The alleged incident occurred just three days after the complete reopening of Gatwick on December 21, after three days of chaos affecting some 140,000 pbadengers.
Rusu, of Blunts Avenue, Hillingdon, will appear in Uxbridge District Court on Tuesday.
He is accused of flying a "small unmanned aircraft without air traffic control clearance," according to court documents.
