Police in the East Region searched for a 40-year-old man for badaulting and killing his older brother with a club.

Kwadwo Asamoah, better known as Akyem Boye, is said to have recently killed 46-year-old Kwasi Asante at Adasewase, near Anyinam, in the Atiwa East district of the city. east of the country.

The suspect allegedly beat his older brother with a stick causing his death, after which he escaped.

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the East Region Police, Ebenezer Tetteh, Deputy Police Superintendent (DSP), said the police had heard of the incident and said they had been arrested. was hurried to the village.

According to him, when the police arrived at the village, they found the deceased's body ready for transport to the cemetery for burial.

DSP Tetteh said that a physical inspection of the corpse had revealed that the deceased had bled nostrils, had wounds to the head, a swollen right eye, bruises to the right shoulder and a cut in the right thumb .

Photographs of the deceased were taken and the body deposited at the hospital morgue of Accra police for autopsy and preservation.

DSP Tetteh who badured that they were doing everything possible to apprehend the suspect in order to badist him in his subsequent investigations.
