An American politician, Carl Robinson, shot dead his wife and killed herself after receiving divorce papers.
Carl Robinson, a Democratic candidate and election candidate for the Mississippi House of Representatives, was reportedly executed on Tuesday by US media.
Apparently, he went to the medical clinic where his wife, who was filing for divorce, was working as a receptionist and shot her.
Robinson then turned the gun on himself and killed himself.
Kenny Dickerson, Sheriff of Marshall County, told the media that the murder-suicide took place at the Williams Medical Clinic in Potts Camp.
"We found the gunman dead from what appeared to be a self-inflicted bullet wound to the head," Dickerson told the newspaper. Daily newspaper.
Kenny Dickerson added that Robinson "and his wife were going through a divorce. His wife was lying on the floor near his body.
The woman who was touched was Latoya Thompson, 34 years old. Police said she was dead while rescuers were trying to get her into a medical helicopter.
