But one man may have had the worst experience we've ever heard when he went to his girlfriend's house to meet his mother and father for the first time.
Sharing the horrible story of Reddit, the man explained that he had met a woman in a rock bar with live music and they got along.
They spent time talking and exchanging numbers, but after a few texts, things calmed down.
But they met again the following week and started talking again. One thing drove another and he ended up going home and spending the night.
