A man whose delivery of milk had just left his home decided not to call the police – but to take care of himself.
Damon Hudson wanted to teach the thief a lesson.
In the last weeks of May, Mr. Hudson stated that a person was waiting for his delivery at his dairy home around 4 am, at his home in St Ives.
The person allegedly stole about two cartons of milk from three deliveries each week, reports Cambridgeshire Live.
But the 25-year-old computer support engineer had a way to catch the person – a camera at the door.
"My milk supply is the world for me," said Hudson, who lives with his family.
"My little brother and my little sister can not function without their cereals in the morning. [The person] prevents them from enjoying the morning pleasures of breakfast.
"It was annoying, not the end of the world, but ultimately, they feel the need to do it.
"I have not called the police yet, instead I have approached them in a different way."
He claims to have discovered for the first time that his milk was "stolen" the week of Monday, May 17, after not having found milk outside in the morning.
"We have a doorbell that contains video footage, so I looked through it and found it," he said.
He added that he did not want to call the police because "they have better things to do than a milk thief".
But after losing milk for the second week in a row, enough was enough for Mr. Hudson.
Entering the third week, he decided to take matters into his own hands.
He added new ingredients to the milk – fish oil and his own urine.
The 25-year-old woman then left her at the expense of the person.
And to his delight, the person arrived at the hour to take the milk this weekend.
"I hope it's the end," he said.
"The crazy guy deserves it."
