The shocking moment when a crocodile surfaced with a man missing in the mouth a day after dragging under the water while biting his crotch was filmed.
Darlin Uti, 30, was snorkeling in the river to repair an underwater pipe near his home in Sulawesi, Indonesia, when the crocodile attacked him. His sister, who was by the river, tried to help Darlin by pulling the hose he used to breathe under the water. But the crocodile plunges his teeth into Darlin's pitchfork, fights with him in the water, and then disappears into the depths of the water.
His sister rang the alarm and the Indonesian authorities immediately began to search for the missing man in the village of Kinapani, located along the Malaoge River.
A day later, the search and rescue team spotted Darlin's body as the crocodile emerged from the water, jaw still clenched around Darlin's body. The video coming out of the water shows the lower legs and feet of the man while the huge crocodile floats before submerging again.
The rescuers boarded boats and eventually found Darlin's body intact and were returned to his family for funerals.
