A multipurpose sports complex being built by the Afro-Arab group of companies in Kokomlemle, Accra, will bear the name of the UAE's ambbadador to Ghana, H. E. Khalifa Yousif Alzaabi.

This information was revealed by Alhaji Salamu Amadu, chairman and CEO of the group, during the ambbadador's visit to the headquarters of the Afro-Arab group in Accra.

He said the facility will be named "Emirates Sports Complex – Khalifa Yousif Alzaabi – Afro Arab".

Afro Arab Group is a Ghanaian business entity created in January 2007 by Alhaji Salamu Amadu, Group President and CEO.

The group is a member of the Gulf of Ghana Chamber of Commerce (GCCC).

HE. Khalifa Yousif Alzaabi was impressed by the group's business strategies and performances and badured the CEO of his support for the group's promotion.

Since its creation, the Afro Arab Group has six flourishing subsidiaries with ten years of successful experience in Ghana ready for commercial partnerships and international investments.

The subsidiaries are Afro Arab, whose services include the sale and rental of earth-moving equipment, the transportation and supply of general merchandise services, and the Afro-Arab Microfinance Company Limited, a tier-2 microfinance company approved by the Bank of Ghana. operations in 2007 and 2013 respectively.

Meanwhile, Alhaji Amadu has been named the most influential young person of the year in Ghana by the West African Youth Confederation.
