Two tankers were attacked in the Gulf of Oman less than a month after the shock of four other ships in the region.
The two ships – one carrying oil and the other a cargo of chemicals – were hit in international waters near the strait of strategic importance.
All members of the crew were evacuated and were safe, according to the owners of both vessels. The US Navy stated that she was providing badistance.
