We asked you where you buy food and drinks that make you think of home. That's what you told us, in no particular order.

Brazil
Finalmente Brasil has outlets in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and its offer includes cosmetics and over-the-counter medications.

Romania
The Romanian community in the Netherlands is visibly lacking at home. Website

British, Irish, Australian and American
The anglophone community is only spoiled for choice, with the biggest supermarkets Albert Heijn and Jumbo selling products such as HP sauce and Marmite (though in such silly nonsense) as well as Irish butter .

Kelly's Expat Shopping is located in Wbadenaar and The Hague and has recently expanded to Amsterdam. It stores all the usual suspects.

Sterk in Amsterdam is strengthening its supply of Anglo-American favorites and has a secret stock of homemade scones in the freezer. They are also happy to try to find your favorites. Also in the capital, the Eichholtz grocery store on the Leidsestraat offers Poptarts, Campbell soup and Marmite in glbad jars.

Valk Versmarkt in Voorschoten also sells British and Australian dishesTim Tams.

A clbadic store mentioned by several readers is A Taste of Home in Haarlem, which has food and beverages from the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, America and South Africa.

In Utrecht, you can buy Canadian, British and American food at Delicatessen Jac. Bostelaar. The cooperative also offers American dishes.

Portugal
Dom Bacalhau Store in IJmuiden, we are told, is the place to go for shopping and Portuguese delicacies The Casa Bocage in Amsterdam offers Portuguese wine, cakes and other treats. You can also buy Portuguese pastries at the Blaak market in Rotterdam.

Hungary

Poland
Whenever you want to try something in Polish, look for "Biedronka supermarkt," says a reader. "There are about 15 to 20 everywhere in the Netherlands, so there is a good chance that you have one near you. And the sausages and Polish cheeses are delicious and cheap! ".

Another reader recommends Malinka Polish supermarkets for kielbasa, pierogi and cold beer. The Lowiczanka supermarket in Utrecht is also very popular.

South Africa
Is the South African community concentrated in Haarlem? Our readers recommend two stores in the city for their favorites – KuierKos and a taste of the house. Pens Dies Pens in Amersfoort are also awarded for the sale of Mrs. Balls Chutney and Sparletta Creme Soda.

Mexico
