A teenager, who was born without a right forearm, took control and built his own prosthetic arm using toys with which children play all the time. With each model, its design has become more advanced.

David Aguilar, 19, is studying bioengineering at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya in Spain, Reuters reported.

He hopes his Legos creations can become an affordable option for those who need robotic members.

He built his first arm at the age of 9, according to Reuters. He is now on version four, or in the vernacular of his favorite cartoon hero, Iron Man, MK 4.

The last version of his arm, which he only uses from time to time, is red and yellow, with a motor. He leans on his elbow and has a hand that can grab.

He also runs a YouTube channel with the user name "Hand Solo" to show that a disability does not have to stop anyone.

After graduating, he hopes to continue building members accessible to all.

"I would try to give them a prosthesis, even for free, to give them the impression of being a normal person, because what is normal, is not it? this not? "Aguilar told Reuters.
