A white man surprised more than one in a video that has since gone viral. He walked into a Yoruba woman’s store and spoke her language.
Before showing his fluency in the spoken language, the man asked the woman if the clothes she was selling came from Nigeria.

When the woman replied in the affirmative, the white man asked her briefly in Yoruba if she spoke the language.

The woman who was caught off guard looked at the stunned man before saying yes. A man who was present said he would really need to capture the moment with his phone’s camera.
I’m not good enough
When the American was told that he spoke the language fairly well, he said he did not yet have a command of spoken Yoruba.

In the short clip, the white man spoke to four Nigerians who entered his shop to buy clothes.
His conversation with them was so fluid. The oyinbo man even did the popular Nigerian handshake to show them he knows their culture.
Posting the video online, the comedian said Nigerians had already “bribed” the white man in Dubai when he said “Nigeria to the world”.
