"Abedi Pele is Ghana's best player," says Asamoah Gyan

Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan praised Abedi Ayew Pele, who described him as the country's greatest footballer.

The former Olympique de Marseille striker was three-time African footballer of the year and also won the Nations Cup with the Ghana Black Stars in 1982.

The 54-year-old athlete also presented 73 times for the national team, scoring 33 times in the process.

According to the captain general of the Black Stars, even though he was young, when Abedi Pele was at his peak, he thinks that no one approaches the one known as "maestro".

"When I was young, Abedi was someone we all admired, he was playing the best football in the country and there is no doubt that he is incomparable," he said. confessed when he spoke to Kwaku Manu as part of "Aggressive Interviewing".

"He is the greatest Ghanaian footballer of all time with his style of play," he added.

Widely regarded as one of the most technically talented players in Ghanaian football history, this former Marseille striker has become a household name for his incredible talent for dribbling and pbading.

His unique style of play draws comparisons with the Brazilian legend Pelé. Abedi is known in France after leading Olympique de Marseille to the glory of the UEFA Champions League in 1993.
