Tears shed tears paid tribute to the late actress June Whitfield, who died in her sleep last December.
Actress co-stars, Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, arrived at All Hallows Church in Tillington, West Susbad, to join the star's family at the funeral.
The service order for the funeral included a radiant photo of June, dressed in an animal print blouse and holding pink roses. It read: "A Celebration of June Life, Rosemary Aitchison, November 11, 1925-29 December 2018". He also included a quote that said, "Remember me with a smile".
Heartfelt messages and flowers were placed in front of the church, including a selection of Lady June's favorite music, including Gershwin and Porter's tunes by Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Nat King Cole and Judy. Garland.
In front of the service, Dame June's daughter, Suzy Aitchison, who played in Jam & Jerusalem, said: "I am delighted that so many people can be here .It is a beautiful day and everyone has been so helpful and adorable.

The wicker casket of the veteran actress is worn, covered with vibrant pink, white and purple flowers, outside the church after the service this afternoon.

June Whitfield (photo) died in December in her sleep. This was an English actress who had her first big win in the 1953 radio comedy, Take It From Here.

"I think it would have been outdated. We try to celebrate life, which is why we are so well dressed – Mom asked us to dress in pretty shiny clothes.
Other attendees included comedian and presenter Roy Hudd, writer Gyles Brandreth and Welsh actress Nerys Hughes.
Reverend Debbie Smith, who led the service, said, "We are maintaining the balance between June and June as a wonderful woman who was part of this community and who has contributed wonderfully, while having a public face."
She told the congregation: "We remember her as an adorable and beloved woman, known as a national treasure, a model for many."

Her wicker casket was covered with brightly colored flowers and David Harkins' poem She Is Gone, She Is Gone, was read by Dame June's granddaughter Bianca Quinn before Roy Hudd's eulogy with whom Dame June was on the radio for many years.
He said, "She was this rare bird – a goody that seemed magical. I have followed a 35 year old comedy clbad among the best. & # 39;
This was followed by a eulogy of Mrs. Aitchison, nicknamed Suzy Quinn, of her husband, who called Memories of Mum.
She said, "Mom was not special, she was very special, not because she was super talented and fantastic but still.

She was known for being beautiful, approachable, kind, supportive, effervescent, funny and beautiful. Everyone loved her and she loved everyone.
She added, "I'm just glad you died peacefully in your sleep, as you wanted, and now you're going to rest with Dad.
"You had the perfect end of your wonderful life, no one could write better your final release, no one would have written better, you will always be loved, missed and unforgettable."
The ceremony was completed with the Jerusalem Hymn and Get Happy sung by Judy Garland.

Donations in memory of Lady June have been requested for Age UK.
The star of Absolutely Fabulous had a career back in the 1940s, including some of the early 1950s Carry On movies. She was best known for her work with comedian Terry Scott, co-starring in sitcoms Terry and June, and Happy Ever After, where they played a husband and wife duo.
In 2017, she was named lady of distinction for her services in theater and entertainment during a career of eight decades.
After the death of co-starred Terry Scott in 1994, June was playing in Absolutely Fabulous with Edina Monsoon's mother, alongside supportive roles in Last Of The Summer Wine and The Green Green Grbad.
She has appeared in many Radio 4 productions during her career and played Miss Marple of Agatha Christie.
Whitfield was awarded an OBE in 1985, followed by an EPC in 1998 and a lady in 2017.
June's main role in Absolutely Fabulous's appearance as the character of Danny Granny and co-star Joanna Lumley, who attended the service today, said that he was "extremely sad" to have lost June.
"I will always be grateful that she has agreed to be in Ab Fab and even more grateful that she has become a dear friend."
"She lived and worked with extraordinary grace. All that June did was perfectly measured. She was so loved and I will miss her a lot.
Other tributes for the star had spread after the announcement of his death in December, the controller of the BBC Comedy, Shane Allen, having boasted the title of "North Star of the British comedy".
He said, "Her spectacular career is unsurpbaded in her longevity, with seven decades in which she has been a key part of many prestigious and successful shows.
"She was the favorite comedy actress of her generation and was always sought after by the cream of British comedy.
"She's paved the way for women's comedy and we owe her a lot of respect."
