Tomori started 15 Premier League games last season for Frank Lampard, but has struggled to make the squad this season.
The 23-year-old has only played in the league once during the 2020-2021 campaign.
Tomori came in as a late substitute in Chelsea’s clash against Liverpool but failed to score the game.
As a result, Tomori has only been named to one Premier League side since the end of October.
Lampard, however, insisted that Tomori had a long-term future at the club.

The Blues manager said: “ He absolutely has a long term future at this club and we’ll see if and when he gets loaned.
“The moment I got closer to Fikayo was when I loaned him to Derby and he was the player of the year and one of the best players in the league that year.
“He came back last year, played over 20 games for us at a young age, then joined the England squad.”
