Interior Minister Ambrose Dery badured families of missing girls from Takoradi that the police were determined to find them.
S addressing the media on the sidelines of the annual review of the department's activities in 2018, he said the complex nature of laws governing the protection of privacy of citizens hinders police investigations.

The families of the three abducted girls in Takoradi, Western Region, however, revealed that they were considering bringing legal action against the Ghana Police Service for their delay in seeking victims.
The girls, who were kidnapped almost a year ago, were identified as Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie.
Ghana and security agencies in the United Kingdom and the United States are working together to find them.
