On May 20, 2019, a similar flood occurred in the Iranian clinic of Kwame Nkrumah Circle and left pedestrians with no choice but to cross the water at knee level. The flood trapped dozens of vehicles in the water while others maneuvered to clear their way.
In the meantime, NADMO, the national disaster management organization, advised the population to take precautionary measures during heavy rains.
