Meanwhile, the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) confirmed that three people were killed by the rain.
Among the flooded areas of the capital are the circle of Kwame Nkrumah, Kaneshie and Dome.
Addressing Starr News, NADMO's national spokesperson, George Ayisi, said his team had traveled through the various disaster-prone areas to badess the extent of the damage.
"After the rains, our men went to mop, they went to 28 places and at two of these places, they recorded deaths.
In the group of schools in Accra, a man and a son stood behind the school wall. Unfortunately, because of the amount of water that had infiltrated the wall, the wall collapsed and unfortunately the man and the son died. he said.
