Accra Uber driver loses car after passenger stuns him with Don Simon

An Uber driver whose name is given as Joseph Aryee lost his vehicle after being poisoned by a passenger he chose on Friday March 26, 2021.

Police (DSP) Effia Tenge, head of the public affairs unit of the Accra Regional Police Command, who made it known, said Mr Aryee reported the incident on Saturday March 27, 2021 .

She said the driver and passenger set off from Osu in Accra to the Virgin City drink point at Achimota Mile 7.

However, as they were on their way to their destination, the passenger asked them to stop so he could get some noodles, so in the meantime, the passenger gave the driver Don Simon for him to sip while he ‘he waits for his noodles.

The driver said after a few minutes of sipping he fell unconscious and fell asleep only to wake up after a few hours to find himself where they were going to drink without his car and ignition key.

However, the passenger was nowhere to be found.
