Lawyer Ace Ankomah seeks 10 million GHC for defamation
A renowned lawyer and managing partner of Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa and Ankomah firms sued Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor of the social media-based "With all due respect" program.
The lawsuit concerns a series of videos published by the vehement Kevin Taylor, alleging the involvement of Ace Ankomah in the alleged ploy of the Dubai-based Horizon Diamonds mining company and some leading government weapons aimed at destroying Menzgold's CEO, Nana Appiah Mensah also known as NAM1.
In his trial, Mr. Ankomah claimed that the charges against him were malicious and carried his hard-earned reputation to "hatred, ridicule, obliteration, discredit, contempt, defamation, reproach, great distress and emotional trauma".
He therefore asks the court to impose 10,000,000 GHC on Mr. Taylor as damages, in addition to other compensation and a life injunction prohibiting Mr. Taylor from publishing to new defamatory documents about him.

In the latest series of videos, Mr. Kevin Taylor claimed to have documents proving that Mr. Ankomah knew in advance that Nana Appiah Mensah was innocent of the fraud charges withheld in Dubai because he (Ace Ankomah) knew who the real fraudsters were, while alleging Mr. Ankomah agreed with his "uncle" KK Amoah, former boss of EOCO, to return NAM1 to their personal advantage.
