Although the app Cydia offers an extensive soup-and-nut pack, it may be worth adding from time to time a source to those already available. Here's Cult of Mac's guide on how to add a source to Cydia.
What you will need:
- IPhone / iPod Touch jailbroken with Cydia installed
- Wi-Fi connection and internet connectivity
1. To begin, you will need a jailbroken device with Cydia installed. If you need to jailbreak your device, check out our jailbreak guides. Tap the Cydia icon on the screen to open it.
2. Once the Cydia refresh is complete, select the 'Management' tab at the bottom of the screen, then choose 'Sources' option.
3. Click the "Edit" button in the upper right corner, then press the "Add" button. Now enter the name of the source you want to add and press "Add Source".
After checking the URL, Cydia can give you a Source warning, a disclaimer warning you of pirated apps that can be downloaded. If you still want to install the source, click "Add anyway" and let Cydia download the source information.
Choose the 'Return to Cydia' option once the installation is complete.
4. The source will appear under 'User Entered', then tap 'Done'. The newly added source package should now be available.
