The GENERAL overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye broke his silence on the late Prophet Temitope Balogun Joshua by sending a letter of condolence to Mrs. Evelyn Joshua, wife of the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), the late Prophet TB Joshua.
The letter was dated June 15, 2021 and signed by the general overseer of the RCCG and was recently brought to the attention of the media.
Adeboye had been an antagonist of Joshua and he even said a few years ago that he would not preach in Joshua’s church unless the prophet allowed him to preach the message of salvation to him so that he was born. again before he can minister in his church.
Many of the senior Christian leaders did not forgive Joshua except a few of them.
In the letter to Ms Evelyn Joshua, Adeboye said he joined millions around the world in offering her the church’s condolences on the death of her husband.
He said he believed he would meet Joshua at the feet of the Lord Jesus on the morning of the resurrection.
The letter reads in full:
“Calvary greetings in the name of Jesus. We want to join millions of people around the world in offering our condolences on the passing of your husband, Pastor TB Joshua.
“We take comfort in the Lord, believing that we will meet at the feet of the Lord Jesus on the morning of the resurrection.
“Therefore, we pray for you, your children and the whole church that the Lord will sustain you all and that such untimely death cease among us in the mighty name of Jesus.
“Be assured of our continued prayers. Yours in Him. Pastor EA Adeboye, general overseer, ”he said.
