He also advised them to update their knowledge of the current policies and protocols for referring patients and clients to hospitals, as they are "first on the baseline scale".

"If you believe you are a practitioner, you do not have to operate your shop without a license and without the approval of the Pharmacy Council," he said.

Alhaji Carbo said the badociation had more than 15,000 members, adding that efforts were underway to establish a permanent secretariat to improve the functioning of its operations.

Mr. Theophilus Ricky Dzadey, Acting President of the Volta Region, revealed that the badociation had licensed a thousand candidates from the region but that only 400 appeared to be actively engaged as drug sellers in the region. free sale.

He said it was important that the badociation continue to work hard to attract new members and end the threat of drug trafficking in the country.
