For him, it is time for politicians, beyond pettiness and partisanship, to discuss real issues affecting the citizens of this country.

Omanhene said that instead of the NDC's finance and economics team critiquing the government's economic management team, it was attacking Dr. Bawumia's personality. describing as "Walewale Adams Smith".

"You do not need an economist to tell you that what Adongo was doing was just to serve the interests of the party … most of the speakers served the presence of John Dramani Mahama; maybe he'll give them appointments when he wins the 2020 election, "Omanhene said.

The NDC Economic Lecture Series was organized to address what they described as misleading facts and obvious false statements stamped with populist rhetoric by Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, head of the Economic Management Team (EMT). ) of the government.
