Jurgen Klopp's men are engaged in a two-horse race with Manchester City for the prestigious crown
Adrian Durham thinks fans do not like Liverpool because their fans are arrogant.
The leader of Drive was talking to Darren Gough in the light of Dean Saunders' comments on the Reds and their general lack of popularity.
Saunders said the rival fans may be jealous of their huge success during the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast.
"Why would not you like Liverpool !?"
"I understand why people would not want Man City to win it."
"Maybe people are a little jealous of the history of Liverpool."

And with a potential double in Europe and nationally, the hype surrounding the team of Jurgen Klopp is on the verge of overdrive.
If the Reds should at least lift their first trophy in the Premier League, Durham thinks the supporters of the red half of Merseyside are about to become much more unbearable.
"People do not like them [Liverpool] because they keep talking about "this is our year," he said.
"They keep saying," Oh, this is our year, it's our year, it's our year "and it's not your year.
"You have to win that – you can not say it will be your year, you have to win that.
"People do not like the fact that they insist on talking about it.
"But we all know, we all know, that Liverpool fans will never stop talking about it if they win the league.
"As they refused to talk about Istanbul!"
