Aduana Stars defender Farouk Adams, who ran over and killed a policeman on the Asuotiano – Berekum road, will be brought to court today (Wednesday).
According to the Dormaa Ahenkro Divisional Police Commander, Supt. Appiah, his outfit will ask the court to return the suspect to custody at Wemfie Police Station while investigations continue.
Adams was arrested after he ran over and killed the motor cop on his way home after work closed on Monday night.
Police said the former Bibiani GoldStars defender fled shortly after knocking down the officer.
The inquiries led to Adams’ arrest less than twenty-four hours after the incident and was taken into custody for further investigation.
