March 25 (UPI) – TNT champion Darby Allin defended his title against John Silver of The Dark Order in the AEW Dynamite main event.
Silver went out of his way to try and defeat Allin, who didn’t want to stay down. Silver charged Allin outside the ring and crashed into the steel barricade.
Silver’s group, The Dark Order, then surrounded Allin, which brought out his partner Sting. The pro wrestling legend stood by the entrance ramp with his iconic baseball bat to make sure the game went smoothly.
The champion launched into The Dark Order with a top rope Coffin Drop, with Allin crashing into most of the group. Allin went on to win the match with a Code Red to remain TNT Champion.
Allin and Sting then paid tribute to Silver. Matt Hardy then jumped over the barricade and grabbed Allin, which caused a great brawl.
Hardy brought in his Private Party associates, The Butcher, The Blade, and The Bunny to fight with Allin, Sting, and The Dark Order. Tay Conti also took part in the brawl to attack The Bunny as Dynamite stopped broadcasting.
Also on Dynamite, AEW World Champion Kenny Omega was in action against Matt Sydal. If Sydal could win, he would win a future league game against Omega.
Sydal managed to land a lighting spiral, but Omega survived. Sydal then attempted a Meteora which Omega countered by delivering two V-Triggers.
Omega prevented Sydal from performing a Shooting Star Press and delivered a third V-Trigger followed by One-Winged Angel to win the match.
The Pinnacle, MJF’s new group which also includes FTR’s Dax Hardwood and Cash Wheeler, Shawn Spears, Wardlow and manager Tully Blanchard, had their first match as a group on Dynamite.
FTR and Spears took on the Varsity Blonds’ Griff Garrison and Brian Pillman Jr. with Dante Martin. MJF, Wardlow and Blanchard watched the game from ringside.
Spears won the match for The Pinnacle after landing the C4 Death Valley Driver on Martin. Wardlow then attacked Pillman as The Pinnacle speak with Tony Schiavone.
MJF made fun of Chris Jericho, The Inner Circle, and said he has a giveaway for The Pinnacle next week.
Other moments of Dynamite included the hanged man Adam Page beating Cezar Bononi; Lance Archer calling Sting; Dr Britt Baker bragging about the story she made last week in her main game against Thunder Rosa; Christian Cage challenges Frankie Kazarian to a game next week; QT Marshall and Cody Rhodes agreeing to have an exhibition match; Tay Conti defeating Nyla Rose; and Penta El Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix of the Lucha Brothers and Laredo Kid defeating AEW World Tag Team Champions Matt and Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler.
Laredo Kid won the match after performing a Spanish Fly on Cutler. Omega then ran into the ring and attacked Laredo Kid before asking the Young Bucks to join him.
Omega wanted the Young Bucks to throw in their hand gesture, but the Young Bucks left with Cutler. The Lucha Brothers then attacked Omega before he was taken over by his friends, The Good Brothers.
