African leaders congratulate France on 2018 FIFA World Cup triumph

France were on Sunday (July 15) crowned World Champions 20 years after they won the accolade when the country hosted the tournament in 1998.

Five African presidents have so far extended messages of congratulations to the national team for winning the 2018 FIFA The World Cup staged in Russia.

The three-piece West Africa (Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Mali), one from Southern Africa (Botswana) and the other from Central Africa (Gabon ).

The leaders used their Twitter accounts to share their messages.

The Blues proved.

The Blues Proven. superior to their Croatian counterparts in the final game played at the Luzhniki stadium. At the end of the proceedings, France won four goals past Croatia, the best of the world.
