I have sad news for all of you Supernatural fans; the CW series ends after its fifteenth season! This series had a long and successful run, but it had to end at one point and that moment has come.
Stars of the series Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, and Misha Collins made the announcement in a video posted on Instagram. Ackels says:
"We just told the crew that although we are very happy to enter our 15th season, it will be our last. Fifteen years of a series that has certainly changed my life. I know it changed the lives of these two guys. We just wanted you to tell us that even if we are excited about next year, it will be the final. "
Padalecki added:
"We cried a few tears and we will cry again, but we are grateful and we will work all that emotion for next season."
I know a lot of fans who will be sorry for that, but at least there will be 20 new episodes in the last season. Hopefully the creative team finishes it in a way that will satisfy the fans.
By the end of the show, more than 320 episodes will have been aired since its first broadcast in 2005.
