Concerned citizens of Tarkwa and Nsuaem in the western region blocked the main road that connects their community to Takoradi and the west-north region to express their dissatisfaction with the poor nature of the roads in the municipality.
More than one hundred angry residents, dressed in red stripes, sang war songs. They placed burning car tires in the middle of the roads in order to prevent vehicles from entering and leaving the municipality.
This resulted in the cessation of commercial activities in the community.
