Air France-KLM Vice President in charge of Africa, Mr. Frank Legre, described the Ghanaian aviation market as a major market in the West African sub-region.

At the unveiling of Air France's new long-haul cabins on February 6 in Accra, Mr. Legre said the group's management was pleased with his performance in the country.
He said the new long-haul cabs were exclusively available on board his Airbus A330s.
"The company offers a new travel experience in its cabins business (36 seats), economic (21 seats) and economic (167 seats). Fifteen aircraft will be completely redesigned by 2020 thanks to an overall investment of 140 million euros, "he said.

Complete overhaul
Ms. Carole Peytavin, General Manager of Customer Experience at Air France-KLM, said the new seat, adapted to the dimensions of the Airbus A330, offered a good travel experience.
Completely redesigned, she said that the seat had been converted into a flat bed two centimeters long and 57.1 centimeters wide to allow pbadengers to fly without time difference between time zones.
She explained that, whether traveling alone or with a companion, the new seat adapts to all needs.
According to her, guests can choose to enjoy greater proximity when they travel with someone or a total privacy thanks to a sliding panel separating the seats.
Strategic decision
Mr. Dick Van Nieuwenhuyzen, National Director of Air France, said the strategic decision to operate daily flights between Paris and Accra, with stops in the two neighboring countries of West Africa, was to offer more of choice to the traveling public.
After two years of operation, Air France, a member of the Air France-KLM group, recorded a load factor of around 88% on the Accra-Paris line and is seeking to consolidate the gains made with the new product.
