Domestic flights have been halted following a strike by Ghana Airports Company Limited staff calling for the dismissal of its managing director, Yaw Kwakwa, over allegations of mismanagement.

Union orders staff to go on strike
The Ghana Airports Company Union division yesterday ordered all staff to withdraw their services from Kotoka International Airport, effective February 26, 2021.
Relevant services include pre-board passenger screening and access control, fire safety / coverage of all aircraft, water supply and sewage treatment as well as public announcement and flight display.
