Ajax set a new record as the first club to beat Real Madrid and Juventus on its own pitch in the same European season.
The Dutch giants won a 4-1 victory at Bernabeu to eliminate holders of the Champions League in the round of 16 after losing 2-1 at home.
After a 1-1 draw in Amsterdam for the first leg of their quarter-final, Ajax went 2-1 at the Juventus stadium.
It was their third consecutive win in the Champions League, the best series since seven wins between November 1995 and March 1997.
Juve have lost three of their last six home games in the Champions League.
