April 21, GNA – Mr. Alex Incoom, District Head of Asene Manso Akroso
Executive (DCE), cut grbad for the construction of a versatile sports turf
for Akroso High School (SHS).

was to help promote sports activities at school and learn more
talents.
The project,
which had been waiting for ten years, was funded from the budget
Fund generated by the school (IGF), with the support of the district.

The WFD called
different actors in the education sector to contribute to their quota
significantly to increase the huge investments the government was putting into
the education sector.
Mr. Incoom, who
is also a former student of the school, said the vision of President Akufo-Addo,
was to promote and develop all sports activities across the country with
the emphasis on "less well-known sports activities".

was optimistic that the installation, once completed, would do much to

studies.
The WFD as
initial support, donated 100 bags of cement for the construction of the
versatile sports project.
It was
accompanied by some New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency officials and others
