The WFD called on the various stakeholders in the education sector to make a significant contribution to their quota in order to increase the enormous investments that the government invested in the education sector.

Mr. Incoom, who is also a former student of the school, said that President Akufo-Addo's vision was to promote and develop all sports activities throughout the country, with a focus on less known sports.

He added that the government plans to undertake some projects within the school, including the construction of a boys' dormitory, a master bungalow and a ten-seater toilet.

According to him, all the documentation surrounding the versatile sports field for the school has been completed and the work should start smoothly by the end of May this year.

The WFD urged students to take their academic work seriously and avoid all forms of social vices that would jeopardize their academic performance in the near future.

Mr. Sampson Agyiri-Nyarko, director of the school, expressed his gratitude to all those who had contributed to the project.

Mr. Agyiri-Nyarko was optimistic that the installation, once completed, would go a long way in motivating students to take the sport seriously at the same time as their studies.

The WFD, as initial support, donated 100 bags of cement for the construction of the multipurpose sports project.

He was accompanied by some New Patriotic Party (NPP) constituency officials and other members of the District Assembly staff.
