Samuel Kobina Annim is the responsible government statistician
The President, Nana Addo, Danquah Akufo-Addo, appointed Professor Samuel Kobina Annim as Government Statistician.
His appointment was based on the recommendation of the Public Service Commission.
The letter was contained in a letter signed by the director of administration, Kwadwo Asante-Mensah, with a copy to Ghanaian Times of Accra yesterday.
According to the statement, Mr. Annim took office on March 1, 2019, after serving as a statistician and badociate professor of economics for more than 18 years at the University of Cape Coast.
The management of the Statistical Service of Ghana has asked the general public to give him the necessary courtesies during his tenure.
Prior to his appointment, David Yenukwa Kombat had been acting since last year after succeeding Baah Wadieh.
